Why is it that every time I try to start a business, the Government does every thing in its power to thwart me? In the 90's I tried to start three businesses. The first attempt was derailed by Bill Clinton's new tax hikes, making it impossible for me to get ahead enough to save enough money to start. The second time, Clinton again threw a monkey wrench into the works by requiring regulation changes to the SBA standards. Basically because I am a white male, I didn't qualify for any SBA assistance. In fact I was told by the local SBA administrator to resubmit the project under my wife's name, because it would be easier since she was a woman. The third attempt was blocked by the State. Both sides of the isle was to blame for new regulation making the amount of paper work required for such a business cost prohibitive.

Now, I am working on my dream of owning my own business. Mr. Obama is threatening via his flawed policies to tax me into oblivion, confiscate my God given freedom and independence in my health care, destroy my dollar's purchasing power and regulate every aspect of my life as punishment for daring to be an individual. I shouldn't be surprised, I mean I am a white male, therefore I am the most hated reviled and impuned group which is politically correct to persecute for the color of their skin.

Life goes on, I march to my own beat. I patiently await for delivery of the next step toward my particular dream. Though I must admit my patience is wearing thin. Meanwhile, I die a slow painful economic death. My wife was laid off, effectively cutting our house hold income by a third. Beans and Rice will be on the menu for some time to come.

When I read the founding fathers, especially Benjamin Franklin, I am amazed at the total foresight that these incredible men had. They repeatedly warn us of finding people of good and moral character to represent us, and the consequences of a failure to do so. Those consequences we are living now. A generation of mediocrity aristocracy have lead us down the primrose path to this economic flop. Soon, we will have no place to share an opinion in opposition to that of the State, as that will be deemed as a threat to the State and I be labeled an enemy of the State.

If you think that I am loony, and perhaps unbalanced, remember that these steps were taken not only by the Socialist Party of Germany, but by the Communist Party of both the Soviet Union and China. Everyone today can see the blatant censorship that reigns China's press, internet, and broadcasts. In the former Soviet Union, the lunar landing was heavily censored. Reagan's elections and speeches were censored. Even television programing was banned. Today a bible is contraband in Saudi Arabia as are all religious works other than that of Muslim. Even Iran censored the protests as best they could when the "election" took place. The historic prescience for suppressing a free exchange of ideas is staggering, and have always taken place when those in power decide that the governed will not thwart their desires. The current health care debate is a prime example of the beginning of the tyranny of the minority. It's an ugly fact. Are were as a people strong enough to withstand the brutal and personal attacks that we surely shall face.

233 years ago 53 men signed their, "...lives, fortunes and sacred honor..." Shall we as a free and independent people arise to the standard that those men set for us? Should I be beaten, arrested or even slaughtered in the name of freedom and independence, then shall I be worthy to stand with those men that committed high treason to the crown and started a new nation.

at the peril of my liberty,

So, it comes down to this. Do we abandon all that was sacrificed by the men and women that maimed their bodies, bruised their psyche and spilled their blood in the name of the very republic that is being transformed before our very eyes? Or do we as a people stand firm, resolute that the Republic will endure, as it was designed back in the later part of the 18th century? Will our generation become the next greatest generation willing to sacrifice all that our children and posterity hence will be free from the bondage of a crushing debt and sinister over burdensome government? Are we the people with the character to build a nation that welcomes all whom legally enter, and make them her own? or are we willing to abdicate our convictions in the name of political correctness?

Some have suggested that we the people are struggling for an identity. That we are having an identity crisis. (everything is a crisis now days it seems) I disagree. We were a sleeping giant. We were able to perform miracles in the 1940's turning from a slumbering citizenry to a swarm of angry hornets ready to destroy those whom attacked our home, and their allies. Today, we the people have been compared to Nazis for voicing an opinion differing from the State. We Americans have been called un-American for opposing a government take over of a free and liberated people. We have been verbally spit upon, physically assaulted and punished for daring to seek our representatives to redress our grievances against Government take over of health care. Our injuries have been repeated, and will continue until we the people will be brought to a fury that will sustain a restoration or revolution.

Our arrogant and blustering windbags called representatives have a new disdain for we the people. Their over bearing rhetoric suppressed by a mainstream media, but revealed by a new media serve as evidence bile riddled venom cursed on the American public. They mark us as a target. The White House, once a bastion of character and decency is now marred with a stain on a dress and a knife in the back of the hard working moral society that put the current president in office. My words here may only be read by a few now, and with God's help by more in generations hence, but know that We the People will return power to the people as it was designed by the most brilliant people in all history.

History will record that evil was thwarted by the character and morality of a people refusing to be subject to an unfit ruler.
