I get that no one really cares about anything really. I mean, we are all headed for a brilliant and hot summer full of barely being able to meet out financial obligations. Thus relegating each of us to a less than desirable status of on the edge of financial ruin. Even better, we get reports that if one does not include "food and fuel" that inflation only rose 1%. WHAT THE HELL DO THEY THINK PEOPLE BUY? It's not that complicated. Let's see, we buy shelter (rent), we buy water, electricity, phone (land line or cell), internet, food, fuel (presumably to get to work, and the store to buy food), medical bills, and "entertainment". out of the list above, by far Fuel and Food take up most of my available funds, and I am not the only one
My sister-in-law is part of the vast majority that is having problems with paying her mortgage. My own industry has slowed to a perpetual crawl, and hours are being cut. With all the problems I am having, mostly not of my own making, like the astronomical rise in the cost of fuel, I watch what congress solution was. They wanted to add a nice fat tax on the fuel we have now. For all US Congressmen and Senators I have one question for you. How the HELL will taxing existing fuel bring us one extra drop of fuel for us? How will a TAX lower prices? There is not words in the English language adequate enough to express exactly how ignorant, repulsive, and arrogant that is for We the People.
Even better, the two people that running for President of the United States have exactly no plan to relieve the incredible pressures on the average American Financial status. The next four years are going to be extremely painful. And I think that I will really screwed. My wife works full time as a teacher, but if I can't work full time, we are sunk. I can't be the only one in this boat, or overboard that boat.
So what the hell do I do? As far as I can tell, I can't do a damned thing about it. And that is the most frustrating part of all.
