Race for President...

Are you as tire of politics as I? First, let’s examine the Democrats and their race for the nominee. We have currently, Mrs. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, and others that are not so news worthy.

Let’s start with Mrs. Bill Clinton. The question begs, do you really want a President that sounds like every man’s first ex-wife? Every tone exiting her lips are dripping with bitterness and distain. Literally, a rake screeching across any chalkboard would be please melody of soothing hypnotic hymns compared to he sirens shrill and bitter tone.

Then there is her politics. Anyone the Administration of 1992 - 2000? I certainly do There was an attempt of a communist take over of ALL OF HEATHCARE. Could you imagine people fleeing to Canada for nearly all procedures because it would take less time and paperwork? How about the level of corruption from top to bottom of that White House? The Travel Office debacle, Monica-gate, strange suicides / murders, “misplaced” billing records, Whitewater-gate, and the list goes on and on. Mrs. Bill Clinton had an active roll in governance while her husband was President. She had a direct roll in choosing Jocelyn Elders, the laughing stock of healthcare, and the incredibly anemic Janet Reno. Does anyone actually believe that her current conservative, well more conservative stance happened with in only three short years? Those kinds of core values only change with a dramatic event in ones life, that causes humble self-reflection. You’ll pardon me if I am highly skeptical of Mrs. Bill Clinton’s humble reformation.

Now to Barack Obama. While I admire his chutzpah, of racing for president with little political experience, no managerial experience, I have to say, the man has no core. There is no one thing that one can point to and say, “that issue is owned by Mr. Obama.”

I can’t find one issue that he has been consistently on one side or the other since becoming a Senator. Basically, there is not enough information to adequately make a truly informed vote for the Senator from Illinois.

John Edwards, the prettiest girl running for president ever. If he didn’t spend so much time on his hair, he might have a coherent thought and well reviewed platform to race on. As it is, I conjecture that most of his campaign funds are for Aqua Net. Spending more time in front of a mirror, rather on stage or on the campaign trail does not endear one to anyone other than high school cheerleaders. I can’t tell if he’s running for “Best in Show”, or President of the United States of America.

For these three, the first to (figuratively speaking) slap Grandma Peloci upside the head, and chastise her for her abuse of her roll as speaker, will undoubtedly be the one to more easily win the election. As it is, it’s fun watching them cannibalize each other.

For me, it is only April 2007, a good year and 2 months before my particular primary election, and I am tired of the daily bombardment of Presidential Politics. There isn’t one that I would vote for.
