GOD BLESS GLENN BECK

Could it be that we are witnessing history repeat itself? On September 11, 2009 tens of thousands ( and arguably hundreds of thousands) of Americans took Washington D.C. by storm – almost literally. Catching authorities off guard and being referred to in derogatory, demeaning and mocking terms like “truthers”, “tea baggers”, etc… these Americans both Democrat, Republican and Independents, met to voice protest not just against the President, but also Congress and their blind blissful following of the President’s agenda.
One thing is certain, the administration and the main stream media have selected Glenn Back as their “ring leader”. Mr. Beck’s participation could be described as the same involvement that Paul Revere had in the famed battle of Lexington and Concord in April 1974.
What most American’s don’t know and are rarely taught is that in the months preceding that midnight ride of Paul Revere, many events were taking place. First on the British side, Lord General Gage – then Governor of the Colonies, and Commander in Chief of His Majesties Royal Army and Navy, was being pressured if not ordered by parliament and His Majesty to remove all munitions, gun powder and artillery from the colonists, as the militias throughout the colonies all had such weapons. Paul Revere, along with the Sons of Liberty and the various Committee of Safety (which were in nearly every community), has set forth networks of communication. Wherein any troop movements of the British were underway, the colonists could and did respond quickly. By the time April 1774 had arrived, the British had taken the armories of several communities, but had failed in others, once the Colonists realized their arms were being taken.
The night that Paul Revere had taken his ride into the Boston countryside, he was not shouting, “The British are coming! The British are coming!”. Rather he was alerting this network which worked its way back to several counties, communities and villages to bring the militia ready to defend the armories of Lexington and Concord – that there would be time enough to remove the gunpowder, guns and munitions and hide them.
Glenn Beck could literally be our modern Paul Revere. On March 13, 2009 Mr. Beck set forth the 9-12 Project. This project was to connect Americans that they might not feel alone while the total chaos of an out of control government might make them feel so utterly isolated. The 9-12 Project has leaders – average citizens – doing the work of organizing, encouraging and participating in voicing the concerns of the people to a group in leadership positions refusing to listen to their constituencies. All Mr. Beck really do was to set up networks, just as did Paul Revere. Paul Revere was in a unique situation as to mingle with the leadership, aristocracy (as it was) and the common man. He was able to bring others together in settings that would otherwise not be possible socially. Glenn Beck has done more or less the same thing, using the most modern of technology available, as did Paul Revere. The difference is that information won’t take a day or two to reach the countryside, but rather it is worldwide and instantaneous. Love him or hate him, Glenn Beck is helping to shape our current history and the future for generations to come. Someday, quite possibly Glenn Beck will be one of those mythical legends just as our Founding Fathers are today.
God Bless Glenn Beck.
